SnapName is designed so screenshot content is analyzed locally on your Mac.

SnapName uses a bundled local AI runtime to suggest filenames. Screenshot images are processed on your Mac and are not uploaded to SnapName servers for naming.

License and trial data

SnapName contacts a licensing service to manage free trial usage, subscription status, and signed license entitlements. This service may process device identifiers, license keys, subscription status, trial usage counts, timestamps, and related technical metadata.

Payments

Payments, invoices, taxes, subscription management, and customer payment details are handled by Paddle. SnapName does not store your full payment card details.

Website data

The SnapName website may receive standard web server and security logs through Cloudflare, including request timestamps, IP addresses, user agents, and requested URLs.

If you email support, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, app version, device details, logs, and screenshots included in the message.
